The Feelings Chart has been developed by Special Ed teachers to assist autistic children to aid with identification and communication of feelings to others.
The Feelings Chart can be used independently or with another person.
To use the Feelings Chart, the user will identify how they are feeling on the visual support, pull the symbol off and place it on the blank square provided. The user can point to the symbol, read it aloud or use the AAC device or use it with assistance from another person. All pieces are laminated and velcroed to ensure longevity.
This product will help to understand feelings, identify and express what those feelings are. It can also be extended to discuss emotional expression in other people, facial cues and what they indicate.
There are 12 common emotions to identify with.
