The ‘Jennswing’ Adaptive Swing Seat from Special Needs Play Equipment is an inclusive swing seat. This swing was designed to make the process of lifting a child into the swing and strapping them in easier.
The unique semi-reclined design offers improved upper/lower body support in comparison to other disability swing seats. The leg rest and arm rest provide additional lateral support. The swing also comes complete with an entirely adjustable safety harness which is secured at the waist and shoulders of the child.
The seat can be adjusted at various angles depending on individual circumstances. Where the shackle is attached will determine the pitch/reclination of the seat. The seat should hang 300mm off the ground in a residential application and 600mm in a commercial application.
The Jennswing seat is made out of durable, rotational moulded polyethylene plastic and will accommodate children up to 56.7kg. The seat is 35cm wide x 28cm deep. The seat back is 61cm high and knee to foot length is 35cm long. It is 114cm overall.
